Maya Lumen is an instrumental energy self-defined as “progressive desperado”. If there was rock and roll at the Alamo, Maya Lumen would be playing the soundtrack. These musical landscapes explore progressive elements of surf rock with Latin articulations and a western ambiance. Fine art painter and psychotherapist Jacqueline F. Moore curates the band and carries the compositions on acoustic guitar. The band includes co-writer Joel L. Sober on electric lead guitar, Krystal Park on keys, Robert Varblow on bass, Andrew Espejo on drums, and Rude Calderon on congas and djembe.​
